googled, but only found 1 similiar to my problem, but would prefer NOT
to dump the database. found schemalock and streams with "no index
defined" through phpmyadmin, i dont know if that means anything or not,
but its the only 2 records that say that. going smoothly for maybe 6
months, and then today, bang, this is what happens when i start:

steve at steve-desktop:~$ mythbackend -d
2008-01-24 20:59:34.990 Using runtime prefix = /usr
2008-01-24 20:59:35.004 New DB connection, total: 1

2008-01-24 20:59:35.021 Setting Lock for Database Schema upgrade. If you
see a long pause here it means the Schema is already locked and is being
upgraded by another Myth process.
2008-01-24 20:59:35.022 New DB connection, total: 4
2008-01-24 20:59:35.023 Connected to database 'mythconverg' at host:
2008-01-24 20:59:35.025 Told to create a NEW database schema, but the
already has 80 tables.
If you are sure this is a good mythtv database, verify
that the settings table has the DBSchemaVer variable.

2008-01-24 20:59:35.025 Database Schema upgrade FAILED, unlocking.
2008-01-24 20:59:35.026 Couldn't upgrade database to new schema

any advice would be appreciated. thanks.
