[mythtv-users] Re-arranging video devices on every boot?

Very frustrating!

After (almost) every reboot (not that I have to reboot much) my video
devices are re-arranged so that the listings don't work anymore and
mythtv is screwed up. I have to go and delete all my video devices,
reconfigure them, and re-work the channel listings by hand again. What a
pain! Could someone advise me as to why this is happening and/or how I
can stop it from happening?

Example:

/dev/video0 = PVR-150 #1
/dev/video1 = PVR-150 #2
/dev/video2 = ATI HD Card

Then I download a few updates and reboot the machine (after 40 days
uptime) and I get:

/dev/video0 = ATI HD Card
/dev/video1 = PVR-150 #1
/dev/video2 = PVR-150 #2

And as you can imagine, mythtv reports one of the cards is unavailable
and the guide is out of sync with the cards. It all crumbles from there.
What can I do?
