[mythtv-users] Script to restart backend after crash?

I have put the mythbackend into /etc/inittab which
puts the onus on the system to restart the process
after it does and also to start it upon boot.  One
necessary hack was to symbolic link /.mythtv to
/root/.mythtv presumably because of environment
differences.

Admittedly this could make upgrades and such more
difficult in that you have to edit /etc/inittab and
then type "telinit q" when you want mythbackend not to
be running...
