[mythtv-users] lirc incompatible with new dev/input device?

If i could get lircd to run, then I could tell you :)
I start lircd with the parameter to use dev/inputX as the device, and then
it listens to that device instead of "default".

Although this should work according to everyting I've read, my just hangs
there at initializing
