[mythtv-users] newbie: mythtv-setup without menus?

I had this same problem (and have long since found the same fix) BUT.
Here is a (perhaps stupid) question. Why would mythtv's default theme
use a specific font that wasnt either installed by default, or
included with the mythtv source itself?
Especially a font that one has to get from *Microsoft*?
