I think the newer XMLTVs are using a mechanism called 'supplement' that provides
a regularly updated mapping - see the xmltv dev list if you're interested.

I don't know how it's going to work or the scope.

And I wish there was a way to keep mythfilldatabase from creating new channels
just because they're in the xmltv data.
