Yeah, it probably is overkill. My master backend+frontend has 2GB. At any given time, it's using about 400-500MB, and the rest is just being used up as disk/inode cache. The system will ALWAYS find a way to use the full 2GB just by expanding the cache, but that doesn't mean it's helping performance. -- Ron
