You can have MythMusic remember which track it was playing and the
position within the track when exiting and have it resume playing at
that point when restarted.

The amount skipped is hard coded and cannot be changed. It wouldn't be
too difficult to allow for other skipping amounts except for the problem
of which keys to use - most of the obvious ones are already in use. One
thought I have would be to change the behavior of the skip fwd/back keys
so they act as a toggle and when the toggle is on then the arrow keys or
number keys or whatever can skip the varying amounts.
