Actually, that link points to a message that suggests using an /older/ 
version of the nvidia driver, not the /latest/ driver.  It is correct 
that the 100.14.11 driver does not have the bug.  The 100.14.19 driver 
does have the bug.  I don't know if more recent versions have it or not.
