I found mine really unstable (am going back about 8months) and really (I
mean really) slow.

I'm starting to like the idea of HDMI over Cat5 at $250 (shame it needs two
runs of cat 5 though), which is much cheaper than a powerful frontend in a
pretty case, generates (comparatively) no heat and no noise!
