Mini-pin?  My PVR-500 has two coax connectors, an svideo, and three rca
connectors (one for video and two for l/r audio).  The rca audio connectors
is what you should connect the sound from the DCT-6200 to.

Also, what is this I have read about setting the channel on the PVR-500
> to 3?  How is that done when just being used as an S-Video capture device?

You mean in setup?  Or something else?  Any channel changing will use the
external command you setup.

This is the setup I use for all the SD digital content from my 6200, and it
looks pretty good.
