Something is very wrong somewhere. My 1.6GHz Core Due under OSX 
running mythfrontend can handle 1080i with about 50 percent on both 
cores. This is all software decode too (no xvmc in OSX). So you box 
with a slightly fast Core2 Duo and xvmc from the native nvidia driver 
should have no problem.
