WLAN?  802.11 a/b/g and draft-n, so far as I know.

There are some older FHSS protocols that still work, and for which used
gear is still available, but I don't think there's any non-legacy
product for non-802.11 protocols these days.

WWAN is another story entirely.

And if I can watch *Verizon's* TV over my EVDO phone, why is it against
the terms of service to watch stuff out of my Mythbox there?
