What about a display manager (any)?  What if you want to run a web 
browser over the TV once in a while?  Also, the consoles don't work 
after I go into X, which means it would be nice to be able to have a 
desktop.  I haven't actually installed myth yet.  I am still working on 
sound.  I suppose this whole thing is off topic, but since it is TV 
related ...
