"are not checked", or more properly, "...endtime _is_ not checked".

Myth schedules programs because they start at the
same time as the schedule, it doesn't care about the endtime.  If
the network changes a program to 59 or 61 minutes, Myth will still
record it because it doesn't care about the length.
