Hi,

im trying to setup HTPC based on linux.

My hardware:

1. mobo: ASUS M2A-VM HDMI with integrated Nvidia 7050PV with HDMI output.
2. CPU: Athlon x2 4400
3. RAM: 2GB
4. HDD: 160GB
5. opttional - i can use Nvidia Geforce 8400GS insted of 7050PV i will work
better.
6. Microsoft Media Center remote
7. Skystar 2 DVB-S card

I tried tu run on two distributions - MythDora and MythBuntu. On SD channels
everything works well but i cannot play HD channels on mythtv versions bulit in
this distros. I tried to compile newest from SVN on mythdora and i was able to
see HD channels but was not displayed correctly - hooping :( cpu usage was
about 150% (2 cores together) - the same was on 7050PV and 8400GS. Im using
newest nvidia proprietary drivers.

Maybe some one can advice me what compilation options in configure i need to use
 for good HD channels recieving?

Currently i only can watch HD channels on Windows with Nvidia PureVideo HD.

Please help. Or there is no aby chance to look HD channels on linux correctly on
this hardware?

Regards, Adam
