. I have the DCT 6200 and Fedora 8 with MythTV installed via ATrpms.
I am having some firewire issues that I was hoping I could ask you
about.

When I run ./firewire_tester -B -P 0 -n 0 -r 5 I get

[root at markmythhd contrib]# ./firewire_tester -B -P 0 -n 0 -r 5
Failed to create new raw1394 handle on port 0

-------
Here is my lsmod ( I had to modprobe the raw1394 )
[root at markmythhd contrib]# lsmod |grep 1394
raw1394 31152 0
ohci1394 36276 0
ieee1394 90064 2 raw1394,ohci1394

Perhaps I have an incompatible firewire card? I would hop down to
MemoryExpress if I knew one that worked. What do you use? Or do you
have one built in to your MB?

------
Here is what is built into my MB:

07:03.0 FireWire (IEEE 1394): Texas Instruments TSB43AB22/A
IEEE-1394a-2000 Controller (PHY/L
ink) (prog-if 10 [OHCI])
Subsystem: Intel Corporation Unknown device 4f43
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 19
	Memory at e2004000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=2K]
	Memory at e2000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
Capabilities: [44] Power Management version 2
	Kernel driver in use: firewire_ohci
	Kernel modules: ohci1394, firewire-ohci

-------------------

Here is what I get in /var/log/messages when I plug in the 6200:

Feb 2 08:54:54 markmythhd kernel: firewire_core: phy config: card 0,
new root=ffc1, gap_count=5
Feb 2 08:55:25 markmythhd kernel: firewire_core: giving up on config
rom for node id ffc0

----------------------
I would really appreciate the assistance on this. Once I get past the
little firewire part, it all seems pretty straightforward.
