[mythtv-users] Error encountered when LiveTV switches shows.

I'm somehow seeing an old bug resurfaced on my system, or possibly a new
one, more likely a configuration error :-).

http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/1153

Ticket was closed 2 years ago. But I'm fully updated running mythbuntu
8.04. (mythtv 0.21.0+fixes18207-0ubuntu4~hardy1)

While watching LiveTV every time the show ends I get kicked out and get
the message "Error encountered while displaying video" (or something to
that affect). It seems pretty consistent, the only time I've noticed
that it doesn't happen is when another episode of the same show comes on
next.

Like two back to back Simpson's episodes will keep chugging along just
fine, until King of the Hill comes on then the error pops up.

I know the common response to LiveTV issues is "don't use it, just
pre-record everything". Which seems silly to me. But until the regular
season starts back up LiveTV will be pretty common in my household.

Anyone else seeing this? If not, what did I screw up?

I will add that I recently got a new Pinnacle HDTV tuner which I don't
actually have added to Myth yet. But in the process of testing it I
recompiled my V4L drivers with the latest SVN. My existing tuner is a
PVR-250, and aside from the problem above seems to still be working fine.

The new V4L drivers overwrote the kernel provided ones, but I can just
reboot into an older kernel to see if the issue goes away I suppose.

Thanks
Mike
