[mythtv-users] ATI Remote Wonder Plus

Really I guess what I want to know is this:

Do I need to patch BOTH the kernel module (ati_remote) AND patch lirc
(lirc_atiusb)?  Or are these two alternative methods that should both
work in different ways, but not both at the same time?

The wiki isn't exactly clear, but in the lirc howto:
http://mythtv.wbond.net/remote_wonder_plus_linux/lirc_mirror.htm , the
kernel module ati_remote is never mentioned so I'm slowly coming to
the conclusion that they must be conflicting methods.

Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.
