Ok good to know.  I tried last night after I couldn't get VGA and 
Component to work with VGA and a DVI->VGA adaptor and didn't get 
anywhere either.

Is it strictly a 1 digital and 1 analog thing or do I just suck at X 
configuration?

Thanks again btw, I would have smashed my head against that for a while.
