My employer ships hundreds of thousands of drives (if not millions) for
enterprise storage systems, and I believe that most of them are Seagate
drives. But such information is useless, as the quoted story and mine
are in reference to the high-end drives, not the consumer models that
we're purchasing for our Myth systems.

Still, I'm hoping to upgrade to a new 7200.11 1.5TB drive if Santa
thinks I've been nice. (Though I'm interested in the idea of a pair of
2TB drives eventually, keeping one spun down except for a nightly rsync
in case of disaster--a low-power RAID-1-ish solution.)
