[mythtv-users] How do I install latest fixes?

Allen,
The command you executed checks out the newest revision of the .21-fixes
branch of the source code. You would still need to compile the source code
you checked out and install it as appropriate for your OS. As you are
likely running packaged versions of Myth, you may want to look into package
upgrades from your distro that may get you close to the current build. On
debian based operating systems like Ubuntu, this is often done with the
command "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade". If this fails to
update myth to something newer, you can contact whoever maintains your
packages and ask them to update the repository, or you can build the SVN
code you checked out yourself. You can probably google for a step-by-step
howto, but it can be a bit daunting for new users sometimes.
