[mythtv-users] HD3000 IR receiver?

I noticed on the back of the HD3000, there seems to be an IR jack.  I 
have seen some threads on the HD5500's ir receiver but I've not found 
any information on the HD3000?

Is it possible to hook something like this a Hauppauge IR receiver cable 
to the HD3000? Or should I be looking at some other way to receive IR 
for my mythtv box?
