I concur:

Desktop with two Seagate ST3200822A drives:

# smartctl -a /dev/sda | grep -i temp
194 Temperature_Celsius 0x0022 039 050 000 Old_age Always
- 39
# smartctl -a /dev/sdb | grep -i temp
194 Temperature_Celsius 0x0022 035 043 000 Old_age Always
- 35

MythTV box with a ST3500630A as sda and a ST3300622A as sdb:

# smartctl -a /dev/sda | grep -i temp
190 Airflow_Temperature_Cel 0x0022 064 053 045 Old_age Always
- 36 (Lifetime Min/Max 30/44)
194 Temperature_Celsius 0x0022 036 047 000 Old_age Always
- 36 (0 24 0 0)
# smartctl -a /dev/sdb | grep -i temp
190 Airflow_Temperature_Cel 0x0022 064 056 045 Old_age Always
- 36 (Lifetime Min/Max 30/43)
194 Temperature_Celsius 0x0022 036 044 000 Old_age Always
- 36 (0 19 0 0)

Admittedly, this is a bit easier to achieve in a domestic environment in the
UK (even without AC) because of our low-ish average ambient temperatures!
