[mythtv-users] Using mythtranscode To Remove Commercials Via the Frontend

I've been fiddling with mythtranscode this morning but am not getting
it. I have a cutlist and want to actually remove the commercials using
the lossless transcode feature of mythtranscode. I've basically
followed the manual instructions on the wiki here:

http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php?title=Removing_Commercials#Transcoding_Recordings

In the backend log I have this output at the end of a transcode job:

2008-04-28 13:04:32.601 Id:2 00:33:23.772 V:191 EXT: 191
2008-04-28 13:04:32.674 Id:2 00:33:23.796 V:191 EXT: 190

2008-04-28 13:04:32.867 Opening /tv/record/1300_20080422212900.mpg.tmp
2008-04-28 13:04:32.956 Input #0, mpeg, from
'/tv/record/1300_20080422212900.mpg.tmp':
2008-04-28 13:04:33.035 Duration: 00:33:23.9, start: 0.360000,
bitrate: 4664 kb/s
2008-04-28 13:04:33.069 Stream #0.0[0x1e0]: Video: mpeg2video,
yuv420p, 720x480 [PAR 8:9 DAR 4:3], 6000 kb/s, 29.97 tb(r)
2008-04-28 13:04:33.109 Stream #0.1[0x1c0]: Audio: mp2, 48000 Hz,
stereo, 192 kb/s
2008-04-28 13:05:27.203 Transcode Completed
2008-04-28 13:05:28.644 Transcoding /tv/record/1300_20080422212900.mpg done
2008-04-28 13:05:29.025 JobQueue: Transcode Errored: Home Improvement
"Off Sides": Autodetect (exit status 0, job status was "Starting")

I am confused because the transcode completes correctly and I find the
*.tmp file. So why does the log say "Transcode Errored"? And I
expected the newly transcoded file to replace the original. Is this
what's supposed to happen? I manually moved one of the *mpg.tmp files
to *.mpg and it plays OK. However the cutlist still remained and I had
to edit to remove all cutpoints before the file would play properly.

So what am I missing? I want to be able to edit a recording, adjust
the cutpoints, and then start a transcode job from the frontend to
remove the commercials.

Thanks,

Drew
