Hi William

I too am on Ubuntu with an FX5200 (but with 512Mb Ram) and have had 
nothing but problems with jerky video (viewing SD DVB recordings etc) 
since upgrading to 0.21-fixes. I would be very interested in the patch 
you are using as I am now embarking on the roll-yr-own version of 0.21 
to see if I can recover WAF when viewing Buffy the Vampire Slayer! 
Currently I am using the MythBuntu flavor but suspect that with some 
work R-Y-O could be my saviour...
