I just rebuilt this box yesterday because of a harddrive crash, and
thats when this problem started.  Thanks for the php.ini info, that
was the next thing that was racking my head about the time in mythweb
being off.  I updated the time, deleted the previews from the
recordings and mythweb cache and i still dont get the previews, but i
can now stream all the recordings when i click on the recording under
Recorded Programs.

U are correct about DST, because all my recordings before March 9th
2008 show the previews.  The problem is that where i live in Canada,
we dont observe DST, the time never changes.  I would also like to
point out that i get a few random previews since March 9th, but
nothing consistent.

Thanks for the advice!  getting closer, just a bit more help needed!
