Was the EIT bug fixed as well?  I built a myth box for a friend a few
months back using a nova-t 500 and with EIT crawling turned on we'd
often see 0 byte recordings requiring a restart before the tuner
worked again.  After discovering the issue was due to EIT and turning
it off a recording hasn't been missed since.
