[mythtv-users] MHEG issues (UK) - flickering, video resizing, mind the gaps!

I realise this is outside the scope of what you'll be looking at but
is there any chance you could add functionality to save pages
(selected) as text files? (or dump all the data to flat text files and
I'll extract the data)?
I had a hunt around in the libmheg code (which is where I suspect the
text is getting generated and rendered from?) and realised very
quickly it was outside the scope of my abilities, while I'm willing to
write the code myself I suspect that setting fire to that many boxes
belonging to other people at the same time could reduce my life
expectancy ;)
What I can do and am trying to do is to write some script frameworks
that extract specific information from the assorted teletext sources
and provides a mythosd popup either on demand from a Remote Control,
on a timed cycle or on a trigger event.
The information could be as simple as a news/weather/share price
scroller or whatever the person wants (say Special Deals on Holidays
to Florida.....whatever).
It wouldn't be something everyone would want but could be handy for some people.
Regards
J
