[mythtv-users] Automatically convert records to divx

Hi.

I wish to record some shows from the TV with my MythTV system.
But I want the records to be automatically converted to DivX format to
let them to fill a maximum of 700 Mb (a standard DivX file you can
download from p2p).
Is there a way to make this?
Is the solution the autotranscoding features of MythTV? I looked at
them but I didn't understand how they works.
