I thought it might be something like this so I checked and checked
before I posted.  I checked again tonight and still saw no such setting.
 There is one screen wher you can set te GUI size but that is all
blank/unfilled.

Also, restarting the front end after resetting the resolution does not
change it back to 1024x768, so I don't think it is a mythtv setting (so
I suppose I shouldn't be posting here ;-)
