[mythtv-users] streaming video to my Mac

Hello,

The MythTV frontend will not play video without stuttering on my old  
Powerbook over a wireless or wired connection, so I'm looking for  
other ways to play these recordings in a lighter weight client  
somehow...

I've been trying to pipe the video to VLC or open the recordings (as  
they are being recorded) via the VLC GUI as a pipe, but neither have  
worked very well. Does anybody have any suggestions of some things I  
could try? I want to watch LiveTV this way, so downloading these files  
via MythWeb doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for...
