This might be belated, but that system should work fine for testing. You
will have to play around a bit with playback profiles to make it work right.
I had some problems with the DVB drivers for my pinnacle, but upgrading to
the latest kernel and latest dvb drivers solved my problems. Compiling a
kernel really isn't that hard.
