HD-Lite. 1280x1080 pixels interlaced at 60Hz. Great rate, less
pixels. (I.e. with 1/3 fewer pixels than real 1080i, they can drop the
bitrate quite a bit, too.)

But didn't Jessica say:

253 straight days in the gym to get this body and you're not going to
watch me in DirecTV HD?...It's broadcast in 1080i. I totally don't know
what that means, but I want it.

Well, it seems DirecTV doesn't know what 1080i means, either. :)

(Whether DirecTV is actually broadcasting at 1920x1080 resolution on
their new DirecTV-10 (launched July 7, 2007) and DirecTV-11 (launched
March 19, 2008) satellites is unconfirmed at this point, though there
are no indications that they're using HD-Lite on them. However HD on
other satellites is HD-Lite.)
