[mythtv-users] mythfilldatabase - 2 files for 1 source?

I'm using 1 DVB-T card and 2 PVR150 cards for digital & analog inputs.
I can cover nearly all available channels with 1 xmltv source but for
some channels I need a 2nd file. I've played about with merging and
splitting to produce 2 xmltv files for 2 sources, but I wondered what
would happen if I ran mythfilldatabase manually (--file) twice for the
same source but using the 2 different xmltv files?
As channels are unique to each file would this work, or would
mythfilldatabase delete all the programs loaded from the first file
when it finds the channels missing from the second file?
I've setup the common channels on dvb-t and analog to have the same
callsigns & ids so I don't get duplicates in the guide.
For completeness: the analog feed covers most channels and the DVB-T
includes some of the same channels, but has a few channels that aren't
available on analog.
The same applies to the epg sources - one xmltv source covers most
analog & dvb-t channels, but i need the 2nd epg source to cover a few
channels on analog & dvb-t.
