[mythtv-users] PVR500 Tuning

Just to (hopefully) clarify, it looks like you need to do the following:

 

- connect your svideo output from your STB to your PVR-500 svideo.

- connect the audio too.

- confirm that you can changes channels on your STB using Myth and one
of the IR blasters.

 

Once you get that working, then you can get yourself another STB and
connect it the same way using the second set of inputs on the PVR-500.
It is my understanding that the PVR-500 is not only a dual tuner card,
but also is like having two PVR-150's in one card (the only difference
being that it has only one coax input).  With your STBs you won't be
making use of the tuner part of the card, but you can still use the dual
inputs independently.

 

You can still use your ATSC card for OTA digital broadcasting.
