I think having an area dedicated to the unique aspects of running Myth
on Mac OS X is a good idea. Mac-specific threads tend to get lost in
the flood of general myth messages on this list. Mac OS X is
certainly a unique enough platform, where Mac specific discussions
don't apply to Linux Myth (unlike the various flavors of Linux, whose
topics generally apply to all distros).
Another mailing list could work. As could using a bulletin board www
site, like the Mac HTPC area on avsforum.com, or one of the MythTV
sites. Using the wiki is another option.. The wiki page for "Myth
on Mac x86", worked well for discussions about porting to the new
intel Macs. But, for broad ranging topics, the wiki could be
limiting.
