YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!!! *Finally* got osx-packager to work!!

smbx:OSX samueljacobs$ MythFrontend.app/Contents/MacOS/MythFrontend --version
Please include all output in bug reports.
MythTV Version : exported
MythTV Branch : tags/release-0-21
Library API : 0.21.20080304-1
Network Protocol : 40
Options compiled in:
 release darwin_da using_corevideo using_backend using_dbox2
using_frontend using_hdhomerun using_iptv ***using_lirc*** using_dvdv
using_appleremote using_bindings_perl using_bindings_python
using_darwin_da using_dvdv using_ffmpeg_threads using_live

Short short version: Letting the script grab the source from svn
*won't* work, not even using the release-0-21 tag - the tag doesn't
seem to correspond with the 0.21 source tarball, there's some issue
with Qt4 and qmake (perhaps the release was tagged too late, as afaik
0.21 shouldn't be using Qt4, or even trying to, and osx-packager as
included in the tarball downloads 3.3.8). I had to place the contents
of the tarball into .osx-packager/src/myth-svn/mythtv (which for me is
actually a mounted case-sensitive disk image) then run the script with
-nohead.

For LIRC, I placed /opt/local/lib/liblirc_client* into
.osx-packager/build/lib and /opt/local/include/lirc into
.osx-packager/build/include and the build/packaging process took care
of the rest.

Aaaaaand... IT WORKS!! The frontend running on my MacBook responds to
my remote, the signals for which are being received by the receiver on
my backend box!!! Sorry for the enthusiasm, but it took me the best
part of a day of forehead scratching to decide that the code being
grabbed from SVN was somehow broken.

I haven't actually tested video playback yet, so if you will excuse
me, I'm going to try and watch some TV! :-D

Thanks!
Sam
