I have spent several hours messing with settings again.  I have yet to get
1080i video to scale to 720p w/o XvMC and get smooth playback.  I was able
to get 720p to play but some slight tearing.

Turning XvMC on, leans to the same studdering when the OSD is up.  For now I
am going to have to just deal with this.  I wonder if this is a Myth issue
or a driver issue.
