Wow, thanks for that link! <br><br>I've been meaning to figure out how to make the transcoder remove the commercials. I have a PVR-500 that is basically a poor mans front end for the time being, in that I use it to watch recordings, but I can't skip commercials. This should solve that problem. And as long as I save the original recording, my wife won't kill me when the commercial flagging causes the transcoder to skip a chunk of her favorite shows!
<br><br>From the How-to, it appears to me that error 247 simply means you are unable to transcode from one format to the other. Would that be a codec issue, or something specific from transcoding one particular format to another?
