[mythtv-users] viewing recordings via Windows - preferred solution today?

Indeed, this seems simple enough....  I learned 2 things from ya:
mythrename.pl and that VLC will play the format Myth uses.  Thanks
Tom!

I suppose one could drop a periodic run of mythrename.pl into cron to
make it automagic?
