I can't really point to anything that hasn't been already said, but I
can tell you that your hardware is WAY more powerful than mine, and I
can record 2 HDHR streams and 2 SD streams with no problem on my backend
that is running a dual core P4 2.8Ghz, 1GB RAM and a 250GB software
RAID5 disk setup (on built in IDE controllers) with GB ethernet.
