[mythtv-users] why my QAM cards stopped working with SD update?

in the upgrade to use SD on my backend (which currently runs SVN
14358) I did a channel scan on my QAM cards and since then recordings
on them have been failing. it seemed to find them but apparently Myth
has been actually recording those shows on the firewire and not my QAM
cards. I played a bit today and noticed this in the log:

anyone have an idea as why this is happening? the channel scan seemed
to work fine finding all the channels i have.
