[mythtv-users] Can't play back most recordings from remote frontend

I have a laptop (a Dell 700m) that I'm trying to configure as a front end. My backend is running Fedora Core 6, and my laptop is running Fedora 7. Both are running the "bleeding" release of myth from ATRPMs (0.21-169_trunk_r14374). I understand that these releases may have major problems, but because I can't find any information about this problem anywhere on the net, I'm assuming this is a problem specific to my configuration. 

There are maybe 2 or 3 recordings that  I can actually watch, but the rest do not play from my remote front end, they all work from the front end that I run along side my backend. The recordings don't seem to make any difference in terms of where they were recorded from, the tuner from which those few recordings work, other recordings from that same tuner do not.

I'm typically testing this over my wireless, but I've tried plugging it in and the results are the same. Watching live tv works fine (at least for all standard def recordings, which makes sense since I know the wireless can't handle HD).

It looks like it can't find the video, but I can't figure out why it wouldn't be able to find some videos, but be able to find those few others.

Also, this is unrelated but, my commercial flagging typically doesn't work. Every once in a while it will find some commercials, but in general, it finds nothing.
