Add "--no-delete" (no quotes) to the setting, "mythfilldatabase
Arguments", in frontend settings under General Settings.  In one week,
you'll have a week of expired data.  In two weeks, you'll have a week of
expired data (i.e. it keeps exactly one week of data).
