	Ok then. This is just something that came along for the ride
with the cpu scaler when I moved from 7.04 server to 7.10 desktop
on my frontend.

	Since cpu scaling is one of those things also used to manage
power and heat in a laptop I just took it for granted it was part of
laptop-mode.
