[mythtv-users] MythTV & 64bit Ubuntu?

Hi,

I'm due to start building my first MythTV box (luckily, not my first
venture into Linux!), and have settled upon the following spec:

Abit an-m2hd motherboard (I've seen reports saying that getting audio
to work over hdmi isn't easy, but is do-able)

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+ 3.00GHz

2x 1gb ddr2 ram

1x 500gb samsung spinpoint - SATA

1x Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T-500

1x Asus DRW-1814BL

What is the trade off between getting the 32bit codecs to run under
64bit Ubuntu, and just running 32bit? Can I expect any major issues
with the above hardware?
