In what way? Fewer MPEG artifacts? Fewer interlace artifacts? What sort
of display are you driving? How are you driving it?

I have a 350 gathering dust. If it's really "far superior" to my 5200 I
might give it a try. Back when I was playing with it I didn't get
results that seemed better than the 5200, but then I'm driving a 32" LCD
via the VGA out of a 5200.

There is so little HD out here I'd give it up for "significantly better"
SD, but my SD now looks pretty darned good out of the 5200.

I'd guess it will always be possible to get at least some functionality
from the 350, unless there is another one of those "conspiracies" to
force us to stop using it :-)

OpenGL is more for "Eye Candy", which seems to matter to some folks and
not to others.
