I'm not expert here, but I have this situation with two rules:

Rule 1: Record premier episodes of any show on any channel with priority of
1

This works great and recently had show up that it would record K-Ville in
two weeks. I wanted to be sure to record all episodes of that because I
tend to record just about every new show so I used MythWeb to add a rule
specifically for K-Ville.

Rule 2: Record K-Ville on any channel at any time with a priority of 3

I believe that Rule 2 wins because of the higher priority. I'm not sure
what happens with all things being equal (maybe rule creation order kicks
in) but for most circumstances, higher priority wins. This is, I believe,
how override settings work and why they work.
