I think you missed the 'can be used by any large subset of MythTV users'
point, and more specifically, Canadian users. There is NO source for
Canadian listings aside from TMS, that I know of. TitanTV doesn't
provide them, I know that for a fact. So for me, the ONLY option is SD,
and I am happy that it is an option, and I willingly paid my
subscription, and have had no problems.
